Welcome to the "International Association of W. I. T. Local Chapter Presidents" homepage!
Hopefully the following information will answer some questions about the IALCP and its activities.
- The "Purpose and Objectives" of the Association is defined in Article IV of the bylaws. The primary and most visible duty of the Association Officers is to assist the W.I.T. Staff in the planning and function of the Grand National Rally wherever required.
The International Association of Local Chapter Presidents "Club Officers"
The IALCP officers term is for one year and goes from their installation at the GNR until the new officers are installed at the next GNR. An officer can only run for two consecutive terms. The nominating committee is instructed to try and nominate officers from different parts of the country so that every one is represented as best as possible.

PRESIDENT: Tom & Nancy Rocheleau (Maryland)

Tom and Nancy Rocheleau, WIT #94570 became WIT Members in December of 1999 when they purchased their first Winnebago motor home, a 1999 Suncruiser.
Tom and Nancy were born and raised in the upper peninsula of Michigan and currently reside in Hollywood, Maryland a suburb of Washington, DC. Tom and Nancy have been campers for 35 years enjoying many outings with their two sons, Kevin and Greg.
Nancy is a federal government retiree whose career began with the Secret Service. She was also employed at the Department of Health, Education and Welfare and finished her career with the Veterans Administration Research and Development Department in 2002.
Tom served with the US Marine Corps from 1962 to 1966 and is a Vietnam War Veteran. His civilian career began in 1967 with Control Data Corporation, a large mainframe computer manufacturer based in Minneapolis, MN. He later moved to Cray Research, Inc. in Chippewa Falls, WI to continue a 36-year career in supercomputer maintenance. Upon retirement in 2003 Tom was the Cray Computer Co. lead maintenance engineer for supercomputers at the National Security Agency at Fort Meade, Maryland.
Tom and Nancy are active members in the American Legion and Tom has served as a Department level officer with the Department of Maryland, Marine Corps League.

Paula and Bud Geng served in the United States Navy. Paula retired with 20 years and Bud retired with 27 years service. We previously lived in Hawaii and Virginia before moving to Florida.
Bud is past President of the Funtime Travelers and the Florida State Winnie-Gators. We are happy to serve the International Association of Local Chapter Presidents.

Tom & Debbie both camped as youths with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. We resumed camping in 2005 when we purchased our Winnebago, and immediately joined WIT. We joined the Prairie Scooners in October of 2006.
Tom was employed by Yellow-Roadway Corporation for 24 years. Before that, he was a service station owner and an automobile mechanic. He lists plumbing, electricity, and carpentry as interests and skills. Tom's favorite camping activities include photography, site seeing, campfires, and sharing experiences and stories.
Debbie worked in the hotel industry for 25 years, and has been out of the industry since the end of 2007 She also owned, boarded, bred, and birthed Standard Bred horses. She has been an Avon representative for the last 10 years. Her hobbies include NASCAR, antiques and collectables. Rehabbing and remodeling are interests and skills she lists. Her favorite camping activities include campfires, dominoes and sharing experiences and stories.

Jerry and I bought our first motorhome, an SOB and spent 2 summers traveling while investigating the purchase of a Winnebago. In 2004, we bought our first Adventurer, and spent 4 summers traveling the U.S. and Canada. In December, 2008 we bought our current Adventurer 38J and traveled with the WIT Caravan to Alaska and the Yukon.
We are looking forward to keeping the traditions of the International Association of Local Chapter Presidents moving forward with the support of the members.

We joined the W.I.T. Club in 1990. Vern was President
of the Madison Winnietascas for 2 terms.
Currently Delma is Treasurer of the Madison Winnietascas.
