Minutes of General Meeting held on July 27, 2000

     July 27, 2000 the 25th Annual meeting of the International Association of Local Chapter Presidents was called to order by President Philip Halstead at 11:00 A.M.
     The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Secretary Charles Jones.
     The invocation was given by Co-Director Carol Johnson.
     President Halstead introduced the officers of the IALCP; he also reported that the Vice-President had resigned due to health reasons.  He recognized the past Officers in attendance.  President Halstead introduce Dennis Burkholder, WIT General Manager, and thanked WIT for the breakfast and social hour.
     President Halstead thanked all the volunteers for their work during the rally.
     The newly elected officers of the International State Presidents Association were introduced.
     The minutes of the last meeting were read by Secretary Charles Jones.  Minutes were approved as read by Helen Spellman, seconded by Ruth Anderson.

     A thank you note from Mel & Mary Genaze was also read thanking the IALCP for the $100 donation to the Youth Program at GNR.
     The Treasurer's report was given by Clifford Gilmore, showing a balance of $3,035.10 and were filed for audit.  Gilmore reported we have a total of approx. 127 members.
     The audit report was given by Mary Jane White, and all was found in good order and correct as of July 23, 2000.
     The new IALCP members in attendance were recognized, (11 total).
     Old Business - None
     New Business - President Halstead  ask the members if they wish to hold another Social Hour similar to the one held this year.  The members agreed.
     President Halstead asked for a motion to make a donation again next year to the Youth Program.  A motion was made to donate $100 by Helen Spellman, seconded by John Ruehter.  Motion carried.
     The chairman of the Nominating Committee, Tom Lawson, presented the slate of officers for the coming year:
      Philip & Shirley Halstead,  President
      Charles & Phyllis Jones, Vice-President
      Cliffford & Brigitte Gilmore, Secretary
      Robert & Katherine Westbrook, Treasurer
      Everett & Carol Johnson, Director
     Motion was made by Helen Spellman to accept the slate of officers as presented, seconded by Alvin Hartgrove.
     Delno Spellman moved that the slate of officers be accepted by acclimation and that nominations cease.  Seconded by Ruth Anderson.
     WIT General Manager, Dennis Burkholder, installed the new officers.
     Lyn Herndon praised Carol Johnson for her prayers and church service.  We are all very proud of Carol.

     A motion was made to adjourn by Joyce Kathman, seconded by Ruth Anderson.
