Old Business:

President Jones again apologized for the poor communication concerning the social.  A motion was made by Ruth Anderson and seconded by Robert Sheldon to have a social again next year.  Voted on and approved.

President Jones had the new Local Chapter Presidents stand and introduce themselves.

A question was asked about support for local clubs.  This gentleman said he had received minimal information from the IALCP.  Charles Townsend explained that the purpose of the club is in the by-laws.  They are available when you become a member or upon request.

Motion was made by Ruth Anderson to send $100.00 to the youth program for 2003.  Seconded by Dean Hecker.  An amendment to increase the donation to $200.00 was made.  Carol Townsend stated that money for the program comes from all over the country and it is also in the GNR budget.  Yea 19, naes 39.  Amendment defeated.  The proposal of a donation of $100.00 for the youth program passed.

A suggestion was made by Christine Trathen to send an article to the WIT magazine concerning this meeting and asking new Presidents to join.

A suggestion by Lynn Herndon that a new meeting place be found for next year.  The noise level is os high tht you cannot hear the proceedings for the meeting.
